My name is Ian Hancock and I am stubborn. I am a third generation Irish American headed to college at Baylor University in Waco, TX. I am learning Irish (Tá mé ag foghlaim Gaeilge). I am a Pre-Business/French major at Baylor and there’s something unique about my going to college. I refuse to believe that I have to take out exorbitant student debt to finance my education. College tuition has risen to an all-time high and, with it, student debt. Instead I’m using me and my education as an investment Proposition. I offer shares of my future equity in return for private investments into my education. As it says in my bio graphical blurb, I am bound and determined to be successful in life. I need to be able to give my investors a return. I am hard working. I am intelligent. I will develop the skills necessary for me to succeed and bring my investors a return.

I am more than that though.

I am a politically passionate Devil’s  advocate with a harmonica in my pocket. I am one who has failed but rose up from it. I drive a 2000 Buick LeSabre and got it keyed for having an Obama sticker on the bumper.

My Bumper of eclectic stickers.
Why can’t we be friends?

They either did not see the Romney sticker or they are entirely against moderate political stances and their keying of my car was their expression of want for me to pick one polarized party. I like to cook and saving money is a passion. I’ve lived in 6 states and all 4 of the commonwealths(KY, PA, MA, VA). I debated in high school and learned as much French and Irish as I could. Don’t get me ranting and if you do please don’t be afraid to tell me to shut-up. I maintain a love for all even(especially) those I disagree with. Being mad at a person is a waste of time and energy. Being mad at ideas is not.
